The Tempting Tarts – Themed Pop up bakery with historical & modern treats
The Tempting Tarts, where the tarts are tempting and the pastry is good too! Historical recipes blended with modern favorites and flavors. Menus themed to every event by our award winning chef, Cee Duckett. Chef Cee is a self proclaimed food nerd with a passion for researching food history. She is always happy to discuss the historical items found on our menus. Also featuring loose leaf teas and whole bean coffee from the Mountain Witch tea company. Everything is scratch made, baked with love and prepared in a fully licensed, commercial kitchen . Come by a try a fresh fruit tart, traditional Scottish shortbread, German gingerbread cookies, boozy cakes or our infamous rum balls. We also try to have a least 1 Gluten Free item every show, and sometimes vegan as well. Cookies, pastries and confections , packaged for snacking , taking home or gift giving. We can also cater treats for after parties, hand fastings, The Queen’s tea with patrons, staff appreciation platters or guild functions. You can order ahead for faire catering, special requests or participant early pick up.
